TFI. WHAT IS IT?

The second edition of TFI Torino Film Industry will be held during Torino Film Festival 37th edition. Promoted by Film Commission Torino Piemonte and National Museum of Cinema, TFI Torino Film Industry is organized and coordinated by Film Commission Torino Piemonte, Torino Short Film Market, TorinoFilmLab and Torino Film Festival.

From 21st to 26th Nov, Circolo dei Lettori will be hosting, at their premises, events, masterclasses and workshops open to all Industry operators, showcasing a rich program for film and audiovisual professionals. Thanks to the presence in town of international Industry players and events, such a wide range of activities will stand for excellent business, networking and promotion opportunities for the different actors in the audiovisual sector, as well as for actual evidence of both Piedmont film industry strong identity, and the region’s artistic and industrial richness.

TFI Torino Film Industry gathers 3 events together:

  • TorinoFilmLab masterclasses, from 21st to 26th Nov.

    On occasion of the Torino Film Industry, the international talent hub TorinoFilmLab organises a program of masterclasses aimed at offering an innovative look on new narrative strategies that engage audiences across different platforms and media. Thanks to the presence of high-profile experts and tutors, TorinoFilmLab will introduce innovative audience engagement strategies and case studies, to inspire the distribution of future films, documentaries and TV series.
    Never the less, all these events offer the chance of creating networking possibilities between the local film professionals and the huge international TFL community.

  • Torino Short Film Market, from 21st to 23rd Nov.

    A meeting place for international film industry professionals from the world of short films and digital contents. Pitch sessions, market screenings and VR showcases, video library, networking lunches and cocktails, one-to-one meetings... Three intense days dedicated to producers, filmmakers, distributors, buyers, festivals and to all those who are interested in short films and more!
    TSFM is supported by Media Creative Europe, MiBAC, Luce Cinecittà, Regione Piemonte, Film Commission Torino Piemonte, Camera di Commercio, Compagnia di San Paolo and UniFrance.

  • FCTP Production Days TFF Special event, from 24th to 26th Nov.

    Production Days showcase a series of Industry initiatives organized throughout the year by Film Commission Torino Piemonte with the support of Compagnia di San Paolo.
    They aim to offer local production companies effective networking and business opportunities through meetings, workshops, pitches and special previews, in conjunction and in synergy with festivals, exhibitions and markets operating on the territory. Production Days TFF Special falls within the context of Torino Film Festival aiming to develop a view for deeper understanding of current issues and strategies in relation to first and second full-length films by a director, focusing on international coproductions and documentaries

TFI. WHO IS IT FOR?

TFI is dedicated to cinema, audiovisual and multimedia professionals. It is open to international professionals as directors, screenwriters, commissioning editors, buyers, distributors, festival representatives, producers, film institutions… Activities will be conduced in English.

TFI. WHAT CAN I DO?

The accreditation allows Circolo dei Lettori activities access for one person from 21st to 26th of November. Pitch sessions, Piemonte Lounge, Market Screening, Torino Short Film Market Video Library, VR showcase, masterclasses, workshops and conferences. Lunches and Cocktail are not included but by invitation only. One-to-one meetings by reservation only. The whole program will be available soon.

TFI accreditation allows also to be part of TFI network. Using your professional account, from 8th Nov, you’ll have the possibility to contact the other participants in order to fix appointment and manage your venue.

TFI. HOW MUCH DOES IS IT COST?

By submission platform, Early bird: 10 euros by the 1st Nov
By submission platform, Regular: 15 euros by the 8th Nov
Last minute: 20 euros, from 21st to 26th Nov *

* Pick up during the event at Circolo dei Lettori / Accreditation desk, from 21st to 26th Nov, 9.30AM - 6.30PM (you wont have access to platform network to prepare your venue, cash only). Special price for Torino Film Festival and TorinoFilmLab accredited people: 10euros.

TFI. HOW DO I GET THERE?

TFI Torino Film Industry will take place at Circolo dei Lettori (Via Bogino 9, Turin) from 21st to 26th Nov, 10AM - 8PM. Accreditation request has to be completed by 8 November. You’ll pick up your badge at Circolo dei Lettori accreditation desk from 9.30AM to 6.30PM.
